Sympathy and compassion. Our pet dogs and cats are an important part of our lives. It's always difficult to see how quickly they grow up and then grow old. Letting go is not easy. But we want the best for our animal family members, not pain or suffering.

So sorry Tom. She may not be with you physically but she will always be there in spirit!

Thank you all for your sympathy and compassion.
I know some people say its just a dog, I have even said that in the past about dogs and cats.
To us Furgie was not just a dog, she went with us just about everywhere we went.
I got hurt 5 years ago, and have not been able to work since then, and Furgie has been
pretty much attached to my side for the last 5 years. She was always by either my side or my wife's side.
She would eat when we ate, she would go to bed when we went, never told to she just did it.
If we were to go out somewhere, either in my truck or my wife's car, she always new which vehicle to go to just by the sound of the keys we would grab.
And now with our new Grandbaby Emorie she would always watch over her too. If Emorie spent the night with us, the first thing Furgie would do in the morning
after being let out of her crate is, she would run to Emorie's crib and make sure she was alright.
Furgie was truly one amazing dog, she gave us the best 11 years of our lives. She surely is going to be missed around here.

Tom
