Saw this beautiful fox while visiting my bro in Athens TX. She had 3 little kits with her, but they quickly disappeared before I could get this shot.

That’s a good photograph. The fox looks underweight but it’s probably normal for a mother at her stage.

I did happen to catch one of her babies before it disappeared. Had I been a little faster, I could have got all 4 of them. Oh well... Thanks PaulBrit and Nascar for your comments. It was her mix of colors that really struck me as well.

I think the mother is awfully skinny to, does not look very healthy to me.

Nice. I have been watching a large family for a month now. They are beautiful animals. This one is a little thin but a nice healthy coat and no mange.
