I am always leery when attaching an old lens to my D800. I found this old perspective control lens which is totally manual. Will I damage my D800 if I use it with this lens??

Be really careful the first time you mount the lens to the camera. Make absolutely certain that the lens does not clash with the "Aperture Interface Ring" located adjacent to the lens mount on your camera. It is easily broken when attempts are made to mount certain certain older lenses to your camera. The statement about every Nikon lens being compatible with your camera is simply not true. I speak from experience after discovering damage in a used camera before I learned what to look for. If you break the AI ring or the internal components, the repair is quite expensive and not covered by warranty.
