Cleaning up messes for people is pretty much this guy's thing. In 1992, when he was Bush-41's AG, he buried evidence tying Bush to the Iran-Contra scandal. Before that, he stopped an investigation into Bush's involvement into the sale of WMDs to Iraq.

Right before Barr was appointed AG, he essentially auditioned for the job, by writing an article pretty much saying he'd do the same thing for Trump.
The first thing Barr does in office is to bury the Mueller report and instead put out his completely fictional "principal conclusions" memo.
More recently, we have Flynn. Flynn had a simple deal -- no jail time if he testified. Trump realized that means Flynn testifies against him. Trump tell Flynn, "Don't worry, I'll pardon you after the election". Flynn says "I can't wait that long; get me out of this now, or I'll testify!". So, Barr tries to drop the charge -- literally using the argument the he does not care that Flynn broke the law.

First of all, "what-about-ism" is not a defense. If you reject the notion that Barr has made a career of covering up for crooked Republican, offer some counter-evidence to that. I just gave several examples of his behavior in my last message to Architect.
And I don't need to reply that Obama did nothing wrong, since that is the assumption since you provide no example of any misdeed of Obama's that Holder supposedly covered-up. The ball's in your court.

- Michael Atkinson - Intelligence Community (appointed IG by Trump, Nov 2017)
- Mitch Behm - Transportation Department (worked in DOT since Bush-43, appointed IG by Trump)
- Glenn Fine - Defense Department
- Christi Grimm - Health and Human Services (had served in the IGs office thru the last 4 presidents)
- Steve Linick - State Department

Notwithstanding that your response to Architect is a perfect example of "what-about-ism", I was simply trying to defuse your claim about investigators getting fired because they keep finding that the FBI did nothing wrong. You presented no evidence other than your what-about-ism allegation so I replied in kind. It's been pointed out in this thread and others that there was no DOJ approval for the wiretapping. By tacitly approving the wire tap(s) on General Flynn obama authorized the commission of a felony. I saw no need to repeat that. My bad. Regarding obama-holder....that will take too long so I refer you Google. Start with Fast and Furious and a detailed examination of the Benghazi cover up.

SEVEN investigations, most led by Republicans, with nothing found, and you still can't let go of that...
I think that's all the evidence one needs about the Obama administration being scandal-free.
Pretty much that same with Fast & Furious -- admittedly a bad idea which didn't work out, but no cover-up, and not much of a scandal.
As for my message to Architect -- I said that Barr cleaned up Trump's scandals; he said Trump didn't have scandals; I listed the exact scandals Barr covered up. No "what-about-ism" at all.
