Birds and More at Donnelley WMA

This past Wednesday, I made my first trip to the Donnelley WMA in lower SC to photograph birds. I used my Canon 7D mk ii with my Tamron 150-600 mm G2 and was using a monopod. I used Shutter priority at about 1000. I got lost several times in the place - my poor eyesight contributed. The visitor area was closed due to the virus so no help from them. Perhaps, I should have taken my tripod. Your comments are welcome and most appreciated.

Nothing wrong with your photos; focus is great, nicely composed.

The alligator or croc is an alligator, the rounded nose is a sure give away

Very nice work! Where is Donnelley WMA in relation to Bluffton?

Thanks for your kind comment. It appears from Google maps that Donnelley is 35 miles north north east of Bluffton.

Thanks, every year I spend two weeks on Hilton Head Island and I have only gone to the Savanah Wildlife and Pinckney areas. This adds another possibility.

I have heard of the Pinckney area, but that is going to be too far away for me. I did study the Donnelley area and printed out a couple of maps of the area before I went, but I should have prepared better. I only found one area with birds and alligators, but I feel sure that there are other spots in there that would have been productive.
