We have been asked to stay home. So, what's a photographer to do? Look through the archives of surfing photos and post a few!
These all look best in download mode.
I really like number eight.

Thanks Longshadow........the big slashing turn for you!!!
Still here and still looking! #6 made me smile and of course I love the bubble!
They are all great shots, Brent, but I really enjoy #3 - excellent photography of a mid-air moment.

Thanks for checking this thread out Linda. In these times of turmoil, it's great that #6 could make you smile and I'm happy that you love the bubble!

Thanks a ton Mike. I like that shot because the surfboard is completely underwater and the surfer girl has already taken her extra breath of air.

Good set. #6 is my fave.
Thanks Richard........that guy surfing on the SUP was better on that board than most surfers. A natural.

Those are great, Brent! Especially inviting to us in the northeast still recovering from a cold winter. The energy in the third, sixth, eighth, and tenth shots is fantastic, but I think the composition of Number 8 is one of the most outstanding surf images I've ever seen. The linear composition and the frozen surf bursting on the pier supports of Number 2 is outstanding. I can't make up my mind between that one and the nightscape of Number 4 for my wall. :) The horizon in the latter one seems just ever so slightly off level - was that deliberate or accidental? It seems to help make the image "flow" toward the point in the distance. Very creatively done!
An excellent series.
