Beauty is in the eye if the beholder! Yesterday I stepped out on concrete beyond our front door. I noted a crumble of concrete and almost kicked it off when I noticed that the crumble had an eye. This picture is a closeup of my beautiful neighbor who is less than an inch in length.

Good eye and good shot. You are lucky to have such a handsome neighbor. Perhaps she will serenade later in the year

If you look at the eye in the upload you will see me, a tree and the sky - all in his/her eye! Thanks for looking UTMike.

Nice shot. Those Gray tree frogs have an amazing ability to change the color, the patterns, and the texture of their skin to match their surroundings. They are mostly nocturnal and sleep during the day out in plain view. I think in Nebraska Cope's gray tree frog (Hyla chrysoscelis) is the one you see. Wonderful critters. They will hang around porch lights at night to catch insects. I can usually get them to take insects from my hand.

They have a distinctive call that reminds me of a cheap kids plastic whistle.

Thanks for information Mike! It is amazing how much I can learn from UHH members! The gray tree frog was around my front porch which has lights!
