The roses and clematis are trying to stand up to high temps and it's not easy. Here are a few I see on my morning walk-throughs.
Unlike others, I have the best luck photographing roses in full sun. It seems to bring out the best colors.
Beautiful work, Katy! Throw in tulips and you have named my top three faves.
Glad you like them, Mike. The winters here are too warm for good tulips, unfortunately.
Great set. #4 is especially nice.
What do you call the color in number 4?

NM, it is called Angel Face and is described as lavender. It smells wonderful.
Beautiful. I especially like the low key last flower. I have been trying to get low key iris shots of my wife's many irises. I have not had good success, with or without flash. I am trying to do it all in camera. I haven't figured out Lightroom or Photoshop yet.
lovely images, love this time of year
