A not so still life.
So here we are kids, sheltered in place. It’s another rainy day and no signs of hummingbirds.
But, I do have my new Acrylic background, my flashes and my rubber ducky.
I took this using the remote control camera shutter in one hand and with the other hand I dropped my rubber ducky, taking his picture as he fell past the background.
Rubber Ducky, you’re the one. You make lock-down lots of fun. You are my very best friend it's true...
so, have your kids twigged to the fact that you're bogarting their duck?

I had no idea what you were trying to say but with the help of the Internet I figured it out.
Answer: No, because that was my duck. The kids are grown and long gone.
The photo was a feasibility study. The duck was in free fall, taken with multiple synchronized flashes having a 10 uS duration.
The reason that there is no shadow on the background is because it was illuminated from the back by a flash that fired in sync with the two flashes illuminating the duck.
