Tanks AvPicLady, My camera is invariably in aperture priority as control of DOF is most important to me.

Thank you Erich, what I particularly like about it is that he isn't looking directly into the lens which gives him a faraway look, as if he was remembering times gone by. He must have seen awful horrors fighting in that bloody war.

This is a great example of a color photo edited to warm B&W. Your whites are not blown out, midtowns and shadow are perfect and your blacks never became 100% black. Beautiful photograph worthy of National Geographic magazine.
