I don't want to be negative at all but the Sigma f/1.8 is a better lens, but if your budget is a concern the Canon is less expensive and a good bit lighter.

Thanks for the recommendation, but the Canon choice for me is the Bokeh this lens produces. It is unmatched from what I see and read. Plus, I am just a Canon guy and stick with those.

You haven't seen the Sigma if that is the case, I am a Canon guy too, look at my gear list in the signature line, the Sigma 135 is amazing.

True statement....I have not checked out the Sigma...probably blind stubbornness on my part. i will give it a look though, as you have made me quite curious. Thank you Blur
