Hi, I'm new to the forum, as well as to the world of DSLR photography. I've had a 'bridge' camera for years, and just this week got my very first DSLR...a Canon t3i with 18-55mm and 55-250 mm lenses. I'm so excited! I saved over a year and half for this camera. I had hoped to get it earlier so I could practice over the summer because I am leaving for Disney World in 3 weeks, but I'm going to read and practice as much as I can before I leave.

I have really been enjoying this site...all the wonderful photos, advice and encouragement. Nice to "meet" you all!
