Young Great Horned Owl

This morning I viewed mom, dad and young great horned owl in a tree as the sun rose. Dad was running crow interference for young owl. These photos were of young owl cringing and looking as dad faced off the crows on the other side and higher in the cottonwood tree!

Thanks lovemypups! I almost have more "young owl" pictures than I do of my 15 grandchildren. I also admire owls beauty and have also discovered that an owl can have a pretty tough life!
