I think what I like about this shot is the fact that this man is completely engaged; while, all around him, life goes on without even taking notice. That contrast is interesting to me.

Thanks, Erich, I find the holy men, the Saduh's and various other religious ascetics fascinating and hope, through some of my contacts in India, to do a series of pictures of these people next year.

That's a wonderful image, and I really like that you included so much of the surroundings instead of honing in on just him. It speaks volumes. Very well done. It's crystal clear throughout and wonderful tones.

Thank you very much, Mark. When visiting impressive places like this little vignettes of life are probably better at invoking memories than all-encompassing grand views.

Thank you GeorgeK. I come at it from the other direction, monochrome is my first choice, the decision is whether to process it in colour
