Photoshop sunset question

I have this vertical semi sillouette shot and the couple wants me to replace the sky with a sunset over the trees.

I've got them selected out and the sky masked out, but when I search for sunsets they are all horizontal and when I combine the two images I run out of sky at the top.

I need a vertical sunset, unless someone can advise me on how to do it another way.

I thought of cutting out a vertical section and enlarging it but I'm concerned it will pixelate.

A little help?

Take your own vertical sunset and then merge the two!

You can crop/resize any horizontal sunset photos to fit your portrait as the background.

Depending on the relative size files, you can drag the image to fit. If you need the sun itself, rather than simply colored sky, that will require a bit more finesse. Here is a screenprint in PS Elements of the move/resize tool.

The background should be able to take a fair bit of resizing before pixelation becomes a problem. And not only is it a background, it's also a sky so adding softness (denoise) won't be a problem.

I did a sunrise tour at Haleakalā National Park last year and with a few quick selections and layers, I did this composite. An expert in PS would do a lot better job than I can, but if I can do it, anybody can do it (better).

This is my shot at it. Please critique at will. You can't hurt my feelings. It's not perfect but it's about as close as I can get, unless someone has an idea how I can make it better.

I took a horizontal sunset and used content-aware scale and stretched it over the vertical image
