We need to wash our hands and practice social distancing, ok, I watch what I touch, I don't touch my face. My question how do I clean my camera and lens ?
Hands is simple ;soap and water, bleach for surfaces.
Of what?
Dust or Covid....
I wipe my down with a Lysol wipe and use a toothpick on the inside of the wipe to get the cracks and crevices. If you don't have any Lysol wipes use hydrogen peroxide and wet a soft cloth. According to the CDC h.p. is as good as alcohol. H.p. also comes in a spray bottle which I also use but not on my camera just around the house. I have to be extra careful my wife has respiratory problems and diabetes and a laundry list of other problems. When I come in from the store I wash everything that I have on and take a shower. So going to get milk at my house is a major event. I think I'm babbling so I'll quite. But hydrogen peroxide works great.
Don't forget to wipe down the steering wheel, gear shift, turn signal thingy, door handles, seat belt buckles, radio knobs, A/C controls, camera bag, ...
otherwise you'll just get it on your camera again.
It’s amazing when you’re concentrating how many things you actually touch. Cabinet and drawer pulls, other handles. Car keys.... can’t be too careful. I’ll follow along to see what others do.

My somewhat younger wife doesn’t want me out in public ( not much has changed there!) I tend to catch things that are going around. She hardly ever gets sick. She does the grocery shopping and I get to cook and clean up.
Diluted Dawn in warm water is a good way to clean the camera, inside and out.

How long do you soak it?
Canon owners are so lucky they can use this method!

I clean everything with the kind of alcohol that come in a single barrel bourbon. I may get sick but I won't care.
