Freedom Tower in B&W

I hadn't been in New York for a few years and I looked forward to seeing what had happened to the rebuilding at Ground Zero. We were staying in Brooklyn and chose to take the subway to lower Manhattan. I came up the subway stairs near the Oculus and looked up to see this amazing scene. The color photo was very good but a New Yorker friend asked if I would do it in B&W for his photo collection. Hope you like it.

It's a stunning shot! Thanks for sharing! Curious to see the color rendition.....

Here is the color version with a little more of the street scene at the bottom of the photo. This is a different crop. Which do you like best?

I think the B&W is the winner in my eye! Both are wonderful images though.....

Excellent composition and subject. You may want to fix your vertical??? But nice job regardless.

Thanks for your comment. I originally thought that going to B&W didn't make a lot of sense and would not have done it if my friend hadn't asked me to do it.
