I know this photo is not technically good, but it is one of my favorites. I took it in Aswan, Egypt in 1995. While the women are all out working hard, these men were solving the world's problems.

I like the picture. The composition is excellent with the three men paying attention to the man in the white cloak. A circular structure, it keeps the eye in the image. As for solving the world's problems, I don't think they want to solve them, then what would they have to talk about. They might have to go do the work their wives are doing. I am Lebanese and I know their culture.

I think this is a wonderful photograph, Luen! It documents well an aspect of the culture of where you were visiting.
The only thing I would do in PP to this photo is lighten the shadows a bit to show more detail in the faces of the men on the right and left of the group.

I like your honestly Curmudgeon and Bob. It'sOK. I have very thick skin. I really enjoy this forum and all the comments. Bruce, Mike, Jim, Jaymat, Paul, Blacks2 and Stan, thank you for looking and for your kind comments. I'm grateful that these old Kodachrome slides hold up and copy relatively well.
