Nikon d90 question

My d90 won’t transfer photos to my Apple I pad. It reads no photos to transfer. I have done this many times and there is room on my I pad but she won’t do it. Any suggestions

My D90 wouldn't download images to my PC via the supplied cable fairly soon after I got it. The bugger just quit! I went to taking the SD card out and using a card reader. Never had any more issues as long as I used the card reader. Still have the D90 but rarely use it since I got the D500. Hope this is helpful.

It sounds like there is a compatibility issue there. I don’t have a D90, but I got a USB C to SD card adapter and just plug the SD card into the iPad Pro. The download starts immediately. Never had a problem doing it that way. I think the adapter is about $25.00.

When I connect my Nikon 810 it does the same sometimes. I unplug the camera and try again and wait a bit even it says no pics to load.
The SDcard reader for iPad is the easiest.

The problem might be with your cable. I had a problem with my PC not recognizing my phone and it turned out to be the cable.

Problem most likely on I pad end. There is a reason a lot of us call them Crapple !

Actually, the iPad Pro II is very capable. I’ve been using mine for several years with no issues transferring photos via the Apple card reader. I haven’t tried to do it using a cable from the camera, however.

My D90 works flawlessly with the Apple card reader. But use the Apple one, not 3rd party. I use the card reader with all of my digital cameras with no problems. I do not use the cables.

A lot? So far, I count one. Your “assessment” is pure conjecture.
