Red Paper Wasp

This is a Red Paper Wasp that found its way into our house although there is nothing unusual about that. What makes this one special is that it was on the couch and my Better Half sat on it and got stung in the butt..!!
She let out a loud "Ouch!" and a few cuss words that would make a sailor blush and sprang off the couch. I hadn't seen her so spry in years. The wasp flopped around a bit and then flew onto the window as to say, "Let me out of here".
Being an expert "Wasp dispatcher" with years of experience I was able to put another notch sprayer. Of course never letting an opportunity to go to waste and as a form of remembrance for my Better Half, I staged its remains for a focus stacking session.

Gave me a bit of a "black comedy" chuckle. I bet that hurt. I got stung four times (all at once) two summers ago. Hurt for a week. Great focus stack.

Thanks, I tried not to laugh however I couldn't hold it back as she was cussing and rubbing her butt.
