I saw some dandelions in the yard and I thought I'd try again to get a opening time lapse. Last year, I tried one outside, but the breeze and clouds made a poor clip. Here are some set-up shots and a link to the resulting video. This was a fun macro project!

This one ran about an hour with a image every 10 seconds, but I didn't use them all. There wasn't much movement the last 20 minutes.
I ran another session this morning with a bloom that was more closed. After 90 minutes, I had to leave for work. I'm excited to see how it turned out!
That is very interesting! I do think that the plant time lapses we see on nature documentaries are done in controlled conditions for the reasons you state. Looking forward to the result! It might be posted here as a YouTube video, or as a gif animation.
Very nicely done. Great job.
Depending on how much time and pre-photo effort you want to invest, I wonder if you could set up some kind of studio light box around the plant outdoors without disturbing its roots. But what you were able to get was astounding as is. Nice work.
Very nice! Best use I have ever seen for a dandelion.
Then you have never tried Dandelion wine . . . !
Or even something as mundane as using it in your salads.

Tried both. You are welcome to my share...
Thank you for sharing and that was great. Will have to look into time lapse. Thank for the inspiration. 👍👍
