This picture is of a female great horned owl with her offspring. You can tell which way the wind is blowing as her "horns" show! The offspring has not yet left the roost which it's nest was in, but seems about ready to try to fly.

Thanks for looking. The owls live in Nebraska so you would think the female would be used to wind!
