These masks need to be custom fitted for each wearer. If not fitted properly they are useless. most of the public thinks that you just put them on like any other mask. The reason for hoarding is purely greed. Not clinical

Custom fitting means crimping it to fit the face profile. It's not like they are custom built to the individual.

Even shaving can make a difference in fit.

They are not custom built, but they most assuredly are available in many sizes and then custom fitted to the individual.

Its kind of like a suit ... you can buy a $1K off the rack suit, and if all you do is hem the pants it will most likely look far worse than a $300 suit with $200 worth of additional alterations to the sleeve length, rise, sides.

The fit is the key, and you are quite lucky if anything off the rack fits you perfect.

Those "indications" were simply legally required scenarios to an incoming administration. Not a forewarning as you seem to think...

I just will NEVER understand the thinking that tries to blame Obama for Trump's failure to act when he had all the warnings and the time to take remedial action. Yes, Obama screwed that one up; but Trump royally screwed up by not heeding the advice of the people who really know what is going on.

Perhaps the single most positive thing Trump could do is acknowledge to himself that he is not a superior being who is smarter than everyone else. Only God can stake that claim.
