He's beautiful and so is your work. How ever did you get him to approach?

Sometimes red fox around my house aren't that afraid. I know some people who live here during the summer feed them. They get used to people. Then winter hits and 90% leave. The red fox comes by to hunt mice in my yard (hope he gets a bunch) and eats some sunflower seeds under my bird feeders. When I see them in the yard, I sort of avoid taking an interest in them at first. After they see me a few times, I become "old news" and then they just act natural.

Beautiful animal. I like the photos with some context. You are so fortunate to live in an area where you're unlikely to be infected by the plague. I went out for a walk in the park here in our smallish city. It seems like everyone is out walking or jogging. Even in the park it's hard to keep the necessary social distance. Anyway, back to the subject, what a beautiful animal. You captured him/her perfectly. You can see he natural wariness in his eyes along with it's curiosity.

Here in the city, we've had a pair of hawks nesting in a tree on the next street over for many years. Maybe ten? They're back and very active this year. Last year they were here but I don't believe had had a successful mating. Hopefully this year they'll have success. I'll post pics if I get a chance to capture them.

All great shots, but all the critters appear to be practising social distancing.

Spring began by the calendar a while ago, so why do I still have three feet of snow on my property and another foot forecast tonight. Nobody lives within 1/2 mile of me, but I do have four moose, a red fox, bald eagles, and a host of smaller birds living with me. Here are some images I shot the past couple of days.

Great set John!!! If you have to get away from the virus, it looks like you have a great place to be!!

Thanks all. I realize I am blessed to be so secluded in the Idaho mountains (still 3 feet of snow though) where I have lots to photograph on my property.
