Arrived in New Zealand on the 6th March, was going to be here for two months, but due to Covid19, thats going to be spent in lockdown! Only got to see a tiny fraction of what I had planned. So I thought I'd share these!

Great shots taff, what a shame you're in lockdown for the duration.

Thanks Doddy, I'm at New Plymouth which has great long walks, so able to get out!

Nice shots. I especially like the fact that the waterfall has not been exposed to the extent that it looks like a milk fall. Moderation is good. Do you know the species of the whale? If you will pardon the expression, it looks to be a whale of a whale. I would guess that it must be either a blue or fin whale.

Your lockdown looks a lot better than my lockdown. Nice shots.

On behalf of my fellow new Zealand folk, I hope you have a good stay. I understand the frustration of what may well be the trip of a lifetime down the drain. My niece had been able to put of her overseas trip just in time. Do make the most of the limited sight setting you are able to get. Best wishes. Andrew.

These are beautiful, John. We did a 2week cruise around New Zealand that got me home on March2. Heard that our ship was not permitted to dock at its next destination, so I recon that I dodged a real bullet on that one. While I did get to see many things I was looking forward to there, the subjects of your shots are all new to me and I thank-you so much for sharing them. Even without visiting these spots, we felt that NZ is an absolutely beautiful place. Wishing you safety and good health and a swift return home.

Those are all beautiful, colorful images with excellent visual design. The pandemic has disrupted not only our daily activities but also our photography. Hopefully all this will pass soon.
It all seems to indicate that you will have to plan another trip to New Zealand. I am sure you could not see it all.
