Episcopal barn

The Episcopal church in Hickman, KY, is the oldest standing church in the state, but this is not it. This is merely the sign seen as one enters town. The barn was hit by the tornado a couple of years ago, but was not so great before that. But yes, this is inside the town. Ducks and geese, and one old pig still live there

Nice shots but I'm confused. Does Hickman KY still exist? Do people still live in Hickman? If not I may move there

Yes, I was in Memphis all my life but moved to Hickman when I retired 10 years ago. It is great for me--low cost of living, nice country scenery and parks all around (no property tax after age 65). I can see the Mississippi River from my porch, and the Tennessee River and Ohio River are within an hour.
I have a two-bedroom cottage, with deck, porch, central air and heat, wood-burning parlor stove, double garage, on 3 lots facing woods, next door to a restored antebellum home with columns, and the note for 10 years was $92 a month (now paid off).
Here is a shot of my swing in the yard. The tornado took the roof of my other next door neighbor's house but barely damaged mine. Still, I got a new roof out of it from insurance, and they replaced the roof on this swing, the lattice and some boards, and replaced the central air unit on the ground outside.

One more--this shot is one of the indigo colored morning glories in the photo above. Canon 60mm macro lens.
