We have about two rolls left. There isn't a store around that has any. So what do we use of instead of tp??
Remember we are both old (over eighty) and both of us have tender butts so catalogs are out and so are coffee filters, tried them, really bad news.

Bidet!! I never understood why these weren't more popular in this country. They sell units for well under $100.00 that retrofit and do an good job, but of course the more you pay, the more bells & whistles such as heated seats & water, etc.. Takes all of 10-20 minutes with a screwdriver to install.
Shop around, they are selling out everywhere fast.
You will never go back to a dirty butt & just TP if you install one.
Google them for reviews & usage.
My wife & I are certainly sold on them. I upgraded & it arrives tomorrow UPS.

Paper towels increase the change of clogging the pipes, so I'd recommend facial tissue (Kleenex.)

My wife and I talked it over after she realized I was serious and she stopped laughing. We read some reviews and descriptions; she had a hard time to keep from giggling at some of them. At the end she looked at me and said, "not a chance cowboy. We'll use wet catalogs and you get to carry our the garbage four times a day.' It was fun though while it lasted. We're both eighty plus and she hasn't blushed like that for a long time. Thanks but i guess we pass.

We tried most of what has been mentioned, all with plenty of water and carried out to the dumpster almost immediately. Maybe we'll just have to bite the bullet and put up with for a while.

I'm checking the Dollar Stores in the morning.

All of our stores have been out of most paper products for weeks. Two days ago I was first in line at a local huge supermarket and the shelves didn't look like they had been touched. I got up a four thirty and was in line at five store opened at six. I brought my wife's walker that has a seat in the middle. I brought a good book and read by their lights as I waited, no eggs either but I did find hamburger so it wasn't completely for naught.

If you have a different idea let me hear it.

Where are you in TX? If you are near Dallas, please swing by, I can share few rolls to hold you over. We have bidet in our house, so at least we have alternatives.

If you don't have the Next Door app, please install it and am sure someone in your neighborhood will help you out.

Well, when we had an outhouse I remember the Sears-Roebuck catalog worked well.
