This little fellow was born with a deformed, leg that stuck straight out in front of him.
I took him to see the vet and he assured me, as he grows and gets stronger he will cope
with it. He is coping well and is a lot better than he was. I'm confident he will live a
normal life. He sits on my desk and he is wonderful and we are the best of pals.
As we are in lockdown here in the UK, I hope all my friends in the USA are well and for goodness sake do what the medical people tell you to do. There are strict laws here now, people have been ignoring the medical advisers and the Prime Minister has had clamp down on their foolishness. Let us hope we all get over this
dreadful situation. God Bless you and PLEASE KEEP SAFE.........
Cheers and Beers

Very cool, Graham. A vet once told me that any animal that finds its way into my house will be blessed. It seems the same with you, my friend.
Cheers and beers,
Bob

very cool ,,stay well all
Cute friend. We have some goofs here, too, who won't listen to professional medical advice. We will all be glad when this is over.
Good morning Graham,
God bless you also ! It sounds like your heart and mine are in the same mode when it comes to providing all the help possible when it comes to our non-human relatives. I read once "we never stand as tall as when we stoop to give help to those fellow earthlings who are in need".
All the best to you and yours,
Terry
Very well done Graham. Stay safe.
Very good of you, Graham, cheers but I don't drink, so no beers.

You are so kind...that's a lucky little duckie!
I know I'm late reading my notifications, however, I really want to say,"That is a cute baby pigeon." Splay legs happen when the nest is too soft for the baby to stand. One or both legs can have a splay. Try giving it a place to perch. Make sure the perch is close to the surface of wherever you put it. During my years rescuing and keeping pigeons, I only had one chick with splay, and it was both legs. In this case we were told Popsicle® sticks make good leg braces. We tried that, but the poor bird looked so sad that we took the sticks away and got it a perch. It couldn't use it, but just being encouraged to stand showed improvement. Then we started putting it on the perch and after about a month it was strong with little splay to detect. I hope this helps.
