Deep thoughts

The current enforced isolation has caused many of us to be alone with our thoughts, often for the first time. This has stimulated the use of parts of our brain previously untapped. It's like finding a new vein of precious metal or a new use for ear wax. For instance, in the examples recently posted by Jerryc41 and rmalarz there may have been deep insights, mistakenly waved off as "stupidity".

It could very well be that the image in Jerry's post (patrons evidently avoiding Corona beer) is trying to alert us not to trust the sanitary handling of packaged goods coming from less secure venues. I'm not sure what the deeper truth in Bob's post is, but will continue to work on it.

This brings me to the purpose of this post. The exposure to deeper levels of my own cognition has brought up many ideas which had never occurred to me before. A few of those, related to photography, I would like to share, along with the caveat that they may not sound original because, as you have heard, great minds run on the same track.

If photographers dedicated to birds are called "birders" , should those who make and post those wonderful images of insects and other bugs be called "buggers"? And shouldn't their pastime be called
"buggery"?

Some folks like to do "head shots" and do so professionally. Why aren't there photographers shooting other areas of ships (or rooms of houses)?

Has anyone ever seen a beautiful hedge hog? Isn't "UHH" redundant?

Don't you have to point and shoot ALL cameras?

Be well,
Frank

The current enforced isolation has caused many of ... (show quote)

Should birders be called Ornery?
Isn't it the photographer who got buggered and not the other way around?
They tried other parts of the ship but when they reach the cabin, it became a taxi ride.
The "full body shot" never showed the back... and the Batroom never existed.

is Deliberate the price of bringing a parcel from one place to another?
How can empty be empty when nothing is there?
How can we walk away, when we really are just walking back from the other direction?

Maybe its all just illusion and dreams...
