We are twelve billion light years from the edge...
The sages suggest there is no edge and no center.
And the answer is still 42.

If one believes in the Big Bang, the center of the universe is right under me.

Some sages also encourage us to center ourselves... which implies we find stability equal distance from an edge.
… except that, at some point, edge and center are the same... maybe... like the difference between "Robert" and "Bob"… the same- but different, according to time, circumstance and perspective... perhaps shoe size, too...
Having found the end of my brain, I'm sleepy now, melismus… but do appreciate the comment- THANKS!

GREAT! answer!! cdayton!! And, as you obviously know, it's always 42; the "galactic" answer to every question on the universal highway! Need a ride?

And over you LWW! and all around, too… have thought of that... and, as Jung suggests, everything in your dream is you... thus, we are each our own Big Bang! I'll add emphasis on the BIG part... emphasize also THANKS! for joining in!!

Thanks Linda! I'm under the belief you live in a relatively dark area but don't recall ever seeing from you any night time images. You do everything else so well, would love to see some blending and compositing and learn from the master!

Very kind of you to suggest, Stephen; however, for many years now I've been quite happily asleep whenever the sky is dark. I also never replaced my broken tripod five years ago. I much prefer going out in morning twilight and watching the sun rise
