This is my preserved Cucumber Beetle that I staged for a focus stacking session. I put the extension tube, reversed magnifying lens and 50mm reversed lens back on the camera and this is a trial to see if the settings and adjustments are correct and what further adjustments may be required.

Thanks, Greg. These are quite small creatures and are also shiny so they are a bit difficult as a subject.

Thanks, Napabob. It could be a bit lighter however highly shiny critters tend to blow out the highlights when I do.
