Oregon, part 1

We spent a week in Oregon, primarily on the coast. I was raised in Oregon and spent a lot of time on all parts of the coast, so a trip there is always fun, but my family has come to love trips there as well. We had great weather and managed to eat at 3 favorite restaurants before all closed.

Very lovely. I spent 2 1/2 years on Mt. Hebo, just east of Pacific City, back in the early 1960s. There was a radar site up there. It closed in the early 1980s.

i Was supposed to fly in to Portland last week and make my way to the coast and travel the coast to San Diego. Those plans have been put on hold for now. Thanks for posting these. Its truly inspirational for my up coming trip. Trying for sept. Thanks just made my day

We live in Southern Oregon but haven’t yet visited the Falls. Moved here 8 years ago but before we get too old and fragile we must go North!

Our son and family life in Portland. For the past 24 years we have visited most of Oregon. One of our favorite trips was to drive down to San Francisco and drive up the coast to Astoria. Took MANY photos along the way...afterwards they pretty much looked similar.
Mt Hood, Three Sisters, Bend, Mekinzie Pass, Canon Beach...what beautiful places to visit.
