What is a "Defocus F/2D lens"? I don't understand the "Defocus" part.

well go to Nikon website and look up the lens and you will find out, it works like you keep the subject your shooting in focus and blurr out the rest

It's DC=Defocus Control not just Defocus.
Lets you have more control of the blur either in the background or foreground.
