Yep, You're on to me. The subject went into an unappealing rigor-mortis, but the colour sat and light was pleasing, so I felt I had to try and salvage as best as possible.

Innovative and beautifully shot.
Did you use a first surface mirror?
It doesn't look like it, there would be no shadowy secondary reflection.
Insects, being bilaterally symmetrical, make great subjects for this treatment. More of this, please.
By the way, not macro, but try using a mirror on human faces.
That might be an interesting subject.

Truly first class and actually nature has made all of its creation in forms of mirroring features. I imagine that it was easier for her that way.
