What saddens me is that the Democratic Party wasted so much time and money on their hyper-focus on Trump. I can understand their dislike for him for I have a lot of dislike for many of them as well.

Rather than working to show that their party is 'better for the people' by doing things that are tangible that improve the quality of lives, they simply resort to name calling and rock throwing. Although there may be many that agree with that tactic, it advances no one and does no more than rebel rouse.

There's a saying in the movie 'Ghostbuster's' that goes, "I've worked in the Private Sector before and they expect results".

The Democratic Party platform has lowered itself to be nothing more than, "We hate Donald Trump and you should too so vote for our party". As a fall back enticement they put a cherry-on-top by offering 'free' healthcare, college, open borders, and absolve college loans. They don't explain however that free to them will be at the expense of others as well as increase the already un-payable national debt. There is also no disclosure of how these promises will create even further reliance on foreign nations to pump their investments into America.

I believe that it is this shallow dividing platform that will ultimately lead to the very defeat that they hoped otherwise.
