Ducks, Goose, & the Moon

Finally had a chance to get out & shoot some pictures this afternoon. Between work & getting work done on our house, free time has been scarce.

The flock of ducks are on the pond at the golf course in our community. The 2nd picture is full frame shot. The 3rd picture is a cropped version of the 2nd. Does anybody have an idea what variety of duck this is? The 4th picture is a cropped shot of the moon tonight from full frame with my Tamron 150-600.

I like your pictures and cannot help identify the ducks. Where is the goose?

The ducks are American Wigeon. In the old days we called them baldpates because of the light patch over their eye on the drakes!

Like your Full Moon Shot.
I live in Maine I just posted a very similar shot captured on my D7200 with a Sigma 150-600 in Maine.
Nice

There is a pair of Canada honkers on another pond just beyond this pond. They didn't come over the hill while I was shooting.

My favorite moon shot was 1 I made when we still lived in an apartment in Columbus, OH. I managed to take the picture just as an airplane was on final approach to the Columbus airport. I didn't realize the plane was in the frame until I looked at the pictures on my laptop.
