The time of day will go up one hour on Sunday. Arizonan is one State that does not change Times. California voted in a past election, to join Arizona in not changing time. But, it has to be approved by the federal government, before it is implemented. Only 4 months of the year are Standard Time. From early November to early March. Why just 4 months? I'm wishing for federal approval, so California joins Arizona, in not changing time twice a year. Don't forget to change your clocks and watches, etc. I prefer daylight savings time. Yearlong.

No, Arizona is NOT on DST, nor is Hawaii, nor should any of the country be. There is no logical explanation for DST.

I retired to the Dominican Republic a couple of years ago. One of the many perks is AST year round. One less thing to worry about. (AST = Atlantic Standard Time)

And it gets lighter later. Cut the end off a blanket and sew it onto the other end = same length blanket.

Set all your clocks to UTC,
it will drive visitors nuts.

Yeah people use that anology all the time and it’s bad. For me there is a big difference if it’s light in the morning, (when I’m going to work and couldn’t care less), and in the evening, (when I relish more light to do things after work)

Actually, it’s a perfect analogy because it shows that DST accomplishes absolutely nothing but to create conversations like this one. Down with DST!

And give us light longer in the evening.

I get that it might be too complex for you to understand.
