I can not tell , but just by looking at it ,and blowing them up on my pc screen I don't like it

Im not sure if you lost some quality on the download or if the photographs are slightly out of focus, but I like to composition of all three. I particularly like the shot of the first owl. Great job, keep them coming.

Maybe I am wrong but it seems to me that the focus on my 70-300 was slow to react , and my ISO was set up at 400 , things that I forget to check before hands .
Oh well , I guess I am in for a long treck before the finish .

I'm not thinking you did anything wrong. I'm thinking they are beautiful.
Maybe what you don't like about the first one is that the background and the hawk are about the same tones. A tiny bit more contrast or gamma correction may bring the hawk out from the background a little more.

I too am obsessed with tack-sharp. However, I like everyone else's photos and am overly critical of my own. Yours are fine.

They seem to be out of focus just slightly, other than that nothing, good composition!!
