What is your favorite brand of lens cleaner and tissue papers for cleaning?
I have the lens pen and rocket blower with and without brush that came in a kit. Also dozens of lens cloths, but sometimes a more through cleaning seems necessary.
Thanks for your input!

I use The blower first. Followed by a lens brush with the lens tilted down. I use Kodak Lens tissue and Kodak lens cleaner. Kodak is out of business but have been getting my supply on eBay. I never use the cloths because my concern if they have dirt on them they can scratch the coating.

I have a package of Hoodman Wet/Dry lens cleaning wipes which works really well.

I use Zeiss wipes.
Never compared brands.

(I was going to say Canon until I opened the post.)

After using a blower, I've been using the Nikon branded ones lately ... 'cause at the time I bought them they were cheaper than Zeiss. They appear to be the same item with a different label.

I just saw the Zeiss that were in little packets at B&H and decided that is what I can easily carry around, and use them for my glasses also. So I bought them.

Zeiss. Five bucks a box and available at Wally Workd and most drugstores.

Plain water, on a micro cloth, and a dry micro cloth. If the lens is on the camera, then under a slow running faucet and dried with the micro cloth. Do not try my method unless you own a weatherproof camera and lenses.

Be ware of the off brand sold by SAMS Club... they are not of good quality.
They are poor at best....
They are not the same as Zeiss wipes.
It is misleading...
I have had very good results with Zeiss or the Nikon brands.

Safe for optics, screens, self contained pre-moistened, pocketable, and they do a great job.

Zeiss packets in the field.
But i use Calyptus liquid and cloths at home.
It is made from plants no alcohol or ammonia.
And designed specific for lenses with coatings.
I always use the rocket blaster and lens brush first.
I am a bit ocd, or odd when it comes to my lenses or any photo equiptment for that matter.

Ziess packets in the field is very convenient $5.00 for what 100?? I tend to use them at home also if needed. Rocket blaster first then Ziess at home or after a outing. I also use them to clean the body of grime and dust also. I also carry a spuds lens cloth on my camera strap all the time for if I need it.
