Reflections from the swan pond this month. Constructive feedback welcomed!

Linda, you let the birds get away in two shots! JK. I know that look on ponds and always enjoy such images.
Those patterns in the water are great - molten gold and silver!

These are wild, Linda! What a neat subject. The last one is my favorite. It is captivating.
Foodie, Paul, Mike and Carol - thanks so much for your interest and comments! I always always go there within an hour of sunrise, so there are usually lots of interesting reflections. I agree with Carol that these - especially the ones with golden light - are a bit "wild"
An interesting perspective, Linda. It's nice to see things with a different eye. Thanks.
How beautiful, Linda, and great examples of the advantages of shooting early and late when the sun is low. Love those reflection patterns.
Very good Linda, would make great textures...
kpmac, Donna, Val and Nimbushopper - thank you all for your visit and comments! Val, I've been seeing textures in everything lately
As we know, not all will work but it will be fun doing test drives.
Good seeing you indulging in the joys of photographing water. Having a friend who began painting his water photography in a super realistic manner, got me hooked long ago. With or without a subject it is mesmerizing. I'm sure its the abstractness that appeals to me. When you capture water fowl with great water to go with it, the photo becomes so much more. I am wondering about the colors in the first one. I can't be sure, but to my eye you have enhanced the blue so that it looks unnatural. To my eye. I think I might like it better in just golden browns.
Fred, Mark and sensorloupe - many thanks for your time and interest!
Mark, your suggestion is intriguing. Below is the original posting with blue and cyan desaturated. #2 is a quick re-do with more in the frame. At this point I'm not sure why I objected to the other ducks, other than a desire to get closer than I was able to shoot
After posting, I might need to do a levels adjustment to make the "gray" whiter.
