Nice sharp pic! I agree that darkening the blue sky a bit would make the egret stand out more. But it's a good capture.

Thank you Linda. I was able to capture it in a pretty tight frame and pretty much left as-is (a little sharpening etc as I shoot in RAW). It definitely seemed to be announcing its arrival upon landing.
