Hello one and all,

I took a very fast trip to America and am now back in China (In Quarantine for two weeks). Took me 60 hours to get from Washington, D.C. to my home in Suzhou. I had a 24 hour layover in New York City, and had always wanted to go to "Top of the Rock" and make these kinds of images. I am very pleased with them and hope all of you like them as well. Have an awesome day!

Hi Ched,

Just got back last night, so still have 2 weeks to go with the quarantine. Thank you for the well wishes. I used a Nikon Z7 for this image, which I consider an amazing camera. The lens was the Z series 24-70mm F4 lens. I was amazed at the image quality with this lens and camera combination. Works really well. The image was made at "Top of the Rock", which is an observation deck on the (I think) 69th, 70th and 71st floors of Rockefeller Plaza building. Cost about $30, but was a really nice way to spend a bit of the 24 hour layover I had coming back here to China. Exposure was 1/10th of a sec. at F4 with an ISO of 400. RAW image file postprocessed in Adobe Photoshop. Thank you for the comment and interest in this image!

Great photos,
I really like 1 and 3, with 1 being a wall hanger in my opinion.
Hope your quarantine goes well.

Apologies, this is what I do for a living, so I can't do the big download. I have had people place my work on other sights without asking and in some instances, taking credit for my work. So, can't do that. Apologies and thank you for the complement.

Thank you very much for the well-wishes, Tom! Fortunately, my wonderful wife is here with me, so all is well. I would be miserable without her. ;-)

Fair enough! That's all I ask, and so nice to have you tell me you were doing this. I respect your honesty because most will never tell you they are doing this. Thank you!
