Help Please - Notification Issue

I keep ticking the box in my portfolio to request email notification of replies to my posts but I never receive any. On returning to my portfolio the box is unticked. Am I expected to disclose my password?

My boxes are checked when I view my profile. And in order to view my profile I have to log in which requires a password. Maybe this is a question to direct to the site administrator.

This might sound dumb but you are making sure to hit the box underneath that that says Update Notification Info? If you are and it's still doing it then I would send a PM to Admin and see if they can figure out what is going on.
