The best picture I had of my wife, that I liked, was in my wallet. I used Gigapixel AI to enlarge it to 13x19 for her memorial service and it was beautiful. I like Topaz for all their software!

I purchased Gigapixil Ai but haven't used it yet because I must upgrade my computer first. A couple days ago I came across this hands on video comparison which made wish I'd watched this first. FYI:

I saw that video also, and my experience (and that of many other reviews) has been very positive.

Its interesting that the reviewer got those weird horizontal lines with Gigapixel AI. I haven't used it a lot, but I can say I've never seen this. Maybe Topaz fixed in an update or there is some subtle issue with the input picture.

Here is another comparison of a 643X805 image upscaled to 2572X3220 (4x). You have to download and zoom in to see the difference.

The biggest advantage of Gigapixel AI over the online solutions is that there aren't limitations in file sizes and this is helpful when making really large prints.

I'd be really interested in hearing others' experience with different tools that do the same job.

Be advised that Topaz is no longer free upgrades for life, but now charges for yearly upgrades...

Remember the new Topaz system. No free upgrades.
49.00 for one product and 99.00 for all products (AI) for one year.
No info for the other programs.

One of the things I have to do is manage product images and sometimes what we get from manufacturers is pretty bad.

Gigapixel AI sometimes helps only a bit and other times Its the closest thing to magic I've seen in a while.

Thanks....
