I'm admiring the processing in #1, the processing and the composition of #2, and the split second of perfect timing in which you caught #3.

You know, Graham, I don't recall your ever offering a tutorial on how you achieve the gorgeous tonal range of your photos. I think dodge and burn has occasionally been mentioned, but it's about time you shared a few other secrets

Graham, I second Linda's suggestion! As someone struggling with scanning old b&w film negatives and then trying to process them I would love to hear about your approach!

No. 1 is outstanding. not only the photography but the substance. Having the mans hand along her face is dynamic. This looks like a closing scene to a Hollywood movie. WOW the impact!

Thanks Jim-Pops, your mention of movies was spot on. I am greatly impressed by the work of the director Carol Reed (The Third Man) and his use of shadows.

EDIT: I uploaded the wrong image, this is the correct one

I particularly like number 1. The composition and lighting. Number three
brought a smile to my face. The expression on the woman’s face is priceless.

A great set, of course I expect nothing less from you. I really like No.3, the look on the lady's face on the right is priceless.

I agree that #1 is especially captivating. The look on the woman's face in #3 is priceless.
