This is my preserved Ichneumon Wasp which is part of the Bill (newtoyou) collection so a big thanks goes out to him again.
It is a focus stacked image with a stack of 248 images at 10-micron steps between each one taken with the reversed 28mm lens setup that I have described before and the constant diffused LED and fiber optic lighting. I set a blue colored card behind the subject to create the dark blue background.

Thanks, Brenda. I keep them stored in alcohol so they often tend to look a bit wet. I found that if I dry them off too much the eyes turn color on me.
