We visited a Botanical Garden in Maui and came home with colorful photos, and reminders of tropical flowers and plants. But, I did not find a name for this pretty one. Can you help? Thanks in advance.

It looks like a mandevilla or some kind of trumpet vine.

I'm going with Vireya Rhododendron. It's definitely in the ericaceae family.

The leaves are wrong for that one, I think.

Nice image.

Rhododendron, from the Vireya subsection of the genus, which is from Ericaceae - the heath or heather family. It could be a cultivar. There are about 300 species in the Vireya section of the genus Rhododendron.

That is my guess.

I agree - the leaves and flower shape are consistent with a mandevilla.

Pretty similar looking, yes. Mandevilla is from the Apocynaceae family - the Dogbanes.
