I dunno - seems pretty prosaic to me...
Most of what we see here is in essence a fancy camera support system. You can see the camera with lens is jutting out from his chin area. The helmet is fitted with counterweights on the back of the head for balance, and the camera's output feed is to the pair of goggles the operator is wearing, so he can frame the shot. The backpack is likely the recording medium - obviously this is meant for movie production at the professional level (note the 4K part); the actor (presumably) would be his or her own camera operator for shots where the desire is a scene calling for the point of view of the talent. Imagine, Renee Zellweger being her own cameraman!

He needs all that
paraphernalia (not forgetting the lead weights of course)
to shoot a drink can... LOL
He also has a broom up his
cloaca so he can sweep the floor
at the same time.
Having said that, If he gets thirsty,
he's got a problem... unless he removes the broom
and does a "Bear Grylls":
