Earwig Bug

This is a preserved Earwig Bug sent to me by Bill (newtoyou) a while back. Staging this critter was quite a challenge for it is ever so small and the magnification needed is quite high with the bellows fully extended.

This is a focus stacked image comprised of 344 images processed into one with Zerene Stacker. The camera setup, illumination and diffusion were the same as described in other recent posts.

As always, thanks in advance to all who view and for your comments, suggestions, questions and critique.

That is FANTASTIC, sippyjug104! Excellent sharpness, wonderful lighting! Don't know how "you people" find the patience for such stuff. Well done!

Thanks for the positive feedback, this one was quite a challenge although I was able to get through it.

Thanks for viewing and the feedback. I'm always surprised at how hairy they are at times too. What often appears to the normal eye to be a smooth insect turns out often to be quite bristlely.
