This is my preserved Asian Beetle. They like to dine on the leaves of the vines along our fence with their friends the Japanese Beetles.
I staged it for a focus stacking session using the reverse mounted 28mm lens mounted onto a reversed mounted magnifying lens and bellows to dial in the amount of magnification required to get the subject to fill the view of the camera. Illumination was my goto constant LED lighting diffused with translucent drink cups and white paper towel.
This is a 271 stack of images processed into one with Zerene Stacker using PMax method.
As always, thanks ever so much to all who view and for your comments, suggestions, questions and critique.

Thanks Brenda, many think of the Asian Beetle as a pest.
